What is the purpose of the Canton Fair?

The offline exhibition of the 133rd China Import and export commodities fair (Canton Fair) concluded successfully in Guangzhou on May 5. As of May 4, a total of 229 countries and regions, including 129,006 overseas buyers, from 213 countries and regions. The total exhibition area of the fair is 1.5 million square meters, the number of offline exhibitors reaches 35,000, a total of more than 2.9 million visitors. More than 100 head multinationals, including Walmart, Auchan and Metro, organized buyers to attend. There are many bright spots for innovative products at the fair. The exhibitors have uploaded 3.07 million exhibits, including over 800,000 new products, about 130,000 smart products, and about 500,000 green and low-carbon products, more than 260,000 independent intellectual property products. Export transactions were better than expected, this session of the Canton Fair on-site export transactions 21.69 billion U. S. dollars. The success of the Canton Fair, fully demonstrates the resilience and vitality of China's foreign trade!

The trade fair for Chinese exporters is also said to be widely communicated, and it was founded in the previous generation with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete range of commodities, the largest number of buyers attending the meeting, and the richest, most effective and reputable distribution in various countries.
